Stainless steel, acrylic, lighting & sound systems, plants. Entry beacon sculpture for University Hospital Emergency Center, San Antonio, TX.  Illuminated wayfinder based on iconic stethoscope.  Chestpiece luminaria with incised patterns from regional medicinal plants and luminous tubing tracing the path of the nearby San Antonio River are framed by healing meditation gardens.

BELL & MANDALA

​Powdercoated aluminum, acrylic, programmed lighting.  Multimedia suspension for Fire Station 12 in Richmond, Virginia. Two iconic suspended elements honor the yin and yang qualities of alert preparedness and performance under duress required by those who serve as first responders. Colored lighting correlates to on/off duty while a medallion at the main entry provides a frame for historic memorabilia.

BLUE TRAIN
​

Aluminum, acrylic, lighting.  Commissioned by St Louis Metro for the Blue Line at Vandeventer Bridge.  Artwork acts as gateway to historic Gaslight neighborhood, known for its rich legacy of jazz and blues clubs.  Ghost train based on iconic Frisco Line with overlay of musical notation of W.C. Handy classic ‘St Louis Blues’.  Metro train plays luminous notes when passing.

Tempered art glass, stainless steel, acrylic, concrete, lighting.  Wind glass, seating, lighting and paving for Baltimore Red Line stations (1 of 2).  Repeated color and shape-coded motifs provide riders with visual placemarking clues while highlighting local history and environs.

Concrete, river rock, lighting, landscaping.   Luminous path halo and landscape for Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio.  Illuminated conceptual 'contemplation pond' with surrounding gardens provides a momentary spiritual pause along the central axis of the campus.
